This puppy showed up on my newsfeed today, I was under the impression it was an established hoax but apparently not. It’s never been proven to be one.
So this Footage has appeared on many tv shows including: In search of and I believe Monsterquest ran it as well.
It was filmed in 1996 by a family apparently out for a fishing trip for the Memorial day weekend, having a laugh and a good time when suddenly one of them spots something running across a hill, they film it and the rest is history.
Some people put it on the level of the Patterson Gimlin film, others say it’s trash. There is no evidence either way, which is cool. No one I know rates it really, they talk about the PGF or Freeman footage and believe it’s genuine but the Memorial Day footage gets put by the by.
There were a series of re creations that proved a man could run faster than the thing. I remember that.
Also at the end it appears to reach up to it’s head and a large black pixel appears for a moment.
Believers call this a Bigfoot infant. I call it someone pulling off a mask, as they have slowed down to a walk and are clearly taking it easy.
In my own opinion the footage is a hoax, but there is no evidence either way, So I guess it’ll keep showing up.

Ramblings of a Schizophrenic Brit 
I have had to re-evaluate many of my original opinions regarding past bigfoot photo’s and video footage from the 90’s or early 2000’s. I was gullible and was inclined to accept just about everything as genuine bigfoot footage!
However in the past 5 to 10 years I have seen the hoaxing behavior of bigfooter’s (Thanks to online sites like BF Anarchy, Team Tazer, etc.) And I now feel this Memorial Day footage is fake or a rumor was spread to pass it off as a bigfoot just to get it on TV (back in the day)
